ABOUT Us

Irish Mountain Challenges are a collection of challenges that take place in various upland regions in Ireland.

Our aim is to give people the opportunity to challenge themselves on Ireland's mountain ranges through mountain and ultrarunning.

South East Ranges

The only challenge in Ireland that takes you across three beautiful ranges in Tipperary and Waterford.

Wicklow 12
Wicklow 24

Challenges where runners summit as many of Wicklow's arderins as possible in 6 hours, 12 hours or 24 hours.

Cnoic agus Lough

A runswim challenge where athletes run Derrybawn, Mullacor and The Spinc plus swim The Upper Lake.

Galtee
Crossing

A challenge that traverses the Galtees, experience summiting Galtymore and her surrounding hills.

Comeragh Crossing

A challenge that traverses the entire Comeragh range, from near the coast in Dungarvan to inland as far as Clonmel.

Knockmealdown
Crossing

A challenge that traverses the Knockmealdowns, take in views of the neighbouring Galtees and Comeraghs.

Lugnaquilla 24

A challenge that takes the runner up Lugnaquilla in the aim of completing the loop as many times as possible!

Dublin 7 Summits

A challenge that takes the runner up Dublin Mountain's 7 arderins!

Dublin Round

A challenge that takes the runner on a looped course of the Dublin Mountains covering 19 summits, over 65km long with 2400m climb!

Mt Leinster Challenge

A challenge that takes the runner on an adventure on Mt Leinster and it's surrounding summits!
